Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A NASA scientist designing a device to communicate with extraterrestrials travels to a forgotten village overrun with escaped mental patients, drawing the attention of the universe to a place most humans didn't even know existed. In 1947, surveyors mapping India and Pakistan neglected to include the small hamlet of Paglapur in either country. As the two countries were being partitioned, the inmates of Paglapur's massive mental hospital staged a coup -- first taking over the asylum and then the town. Over the course of the next six decades, Paglapur remained cut off from the rest of the world. But all that changes when NASA scientist Agastya (Akshay Kumar) begins work on a device to contact aliens, and travels to Paglapur with a hidden agenda. Now the village where the lunatics roam free is about to become Earth's beacon for every curious extraterrestrial in the cosmos.
