Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
In one of her many low-budget thrillers, a pre-stardom Evelyn Brent once again becomes involved with underworld characters. This time, she plays Peggy Allen, an artist's model who witnesses the killing of her employer through a telescope. When Peggy's boyfriend Billy (Jack Luden) is accused of the crime, the plucky heroine decides to catch the real murderer, Milano the Wop (Eugene Borden). Unfortunately, her identity is revealed and she soon finds herself at the mercy of Milano's boss Dice Morey (Charles Delaney). But Dice's obvious attraction to Peggy draws the ire of gangster's moll Poppy (Violet Palmer), who helps her potential rival escape. A merry chase subsequently ensues.
