Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Larry Lannigan (William Russell) is the lumber foreman in a lawless Western town. Thirty years earlier, his father (George Nicholls) and other law-abiding citizens had kept things under control by organizing a group called the Iron Riders. Larry decides to bring this tradition back. He shrouds himself in the black gown of the Riders and thus disguised, walks into a courtroom and forces two witnesses to tell the truth about a murder. Since no one knows who the Iron Rider is, Jim Mason (Arthur Morrison) and the crooked Sheriff Donovan (Wadsworth Harris) decide to use the ploy to their own ends. The sheriff covers himself in a black sheet, closes up the local saloon on Sunday and robs the cash register. Larry's father thinks his son is responsible and Larry refuses to accuse the sheriff since he is the father of Mera, the girl he loves (Vola Vale). He's forced to leave town, but eventually, after he saves Mera from yet another villain, he is proved innocent.
