Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

This dramatic love story finds a man divorcing his wife but pretending to still be married for the sake of his ailing Jewish mother. Joel (Gideon Shemer) continues the charade for his mother (Hana Rovina) who desperately wishes for a grandchild before she dies. He finds love in the arms of his willing secretary Karin (Mandy Rice Davies) before meeting the alluring Iris (Leora Ramon). The beautiful 17-year-old girl and the fortysomething Joel begin a platonic relationship that is threatened by a jealous rival. Joram (Sammy Kraus) plants the idea in Joel's head that Iris is a girl of loose moral fiber with a voracious sexual appetite. Joel rapes Iris and beats up Joram as he continues to search for the true love that has eluded him.
