Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur

Los Angeles-based television and radio talk show host David Diaan makes his directorial debut with the nonpolitical documentary Iran is My Home. Shot all around Iran in 2000, the film is a video diary of Diaan's visit to his homeland after a 20-year absence. He wanders around parks, hotels, and streets in Tehran, Isfahan, and the coast of the Caspian Sea. Personal subjects include his mother, fiancée Sogol, and random people on the street. Iran Is My Home was shown at the 2003 IFP Los Angeles Film Festival.
