This disappointing Western didn't have as much action as the usual fare from Buffalo Bill Jr. -- there's more scheming and intrigue than there is fighting, riding, and shooting. The picture does have a slightly different slant -- Westerns usually have the villain impersonate the girl's brother. In this instance, circumstances dictate that the hero, Bill Stannard (Buffalo Bill Jr.), pretend to be the brother of pretty ranch owner Ann Douglas (Olive Hasbrouck). Joe Luke, a crooked lawyer (Jack McDonald), is trying to get his hands on Ann's ranch. Realizing that she's going to need help, she advertises for her long-lost brother and winds up with Stannard. Luke attempts to frame Stannard on a forgery charge, but then Ann's real brother, Ben (Al Taylor), steps in to foil the villain's nasty plan. It turns out that Ben, a semi-invalid cowboy, has been working on Ann's ranch all along under an assumed name. So in one fell swoop, Ann finds both her brother and a husband.
