Synopsis by Hal Erickson
"An all-wrong story" was the trade magazine Variety's truculent reaction to the Selig three-reeler Insurrection. The story takes place in an unidentified Third World nation. A group of insurrectionists plot to take over the government and execute all foreigners, including the Americans. Thank heaven that the United States Army and Navy both arrive in time to foil the villains' schemes. Most of the footage is comprised of newsreel clips of actual soldiers and sailors drilling and maneuvering; these were rather poorly matched up with the "dramatized" sequences, convincing absolutely no one that the actors playing the military personnel were the genuine article.
