Go behind the scenes of some Los Angeles female street gangs in this episode of Inside Story from A&E. Narrated by Bill Kurtis, this documentary follows four women as they go through their days as part of some of the most violent gangs in the city. There is Crazy, who has been part of a gang throughout all of her teen years and lived to tell about it. Shy Girl's story is much different; she has been beaten up several times, stabbed, and even shot. Even with all of these life-threatening happenings, Shy Girl remains loyal to her gang, while her sister tries to get her out of gang life and clean up her act in order to get her son back. Inside Story also looks at the lives of Silvia, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for murder when she was only 16 years old. La Lista was recently released from prison after serving a year and is worried about being hurt by her former gang rivals.
