Synopsis by Hal Erickson
It is commonly believed that Americans in 1967 were denied any point of view other than the official government party line regarding the war in Vietnam. Felix Greene's searing feature-length documentary Inside North Vietnam proves otherwise. After offering a brief history of Southeast Asia, Greene charts the Western incursion into Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, beginning with French colonalization. The film ends with news footage culled from both American and North Vietnamese sources.
