Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ raised a number of burning questions in the global Christian community. In this documentary, filmmaker Tim Chey takes a closer look at the remarkable effect that the film had on audiences worldwide. From the startling case of notorious Norwegian neo-nazi Johnny Olson - who turned himself in to authorities shortly after viewing the film - to the similar case of convicted murderer Dan Leach and the remarkable efforts of Arch Bonnema to ensure that as many people as possible saw The Passion of the Christ by purchasing 6,000 tickets and distributing them at will, this film explores the impact that Gibson's controversial film has had on a society far removed from that depicted in the Bible.
