If Loving You Is Wrong concerns a married couple who, as the story begins, must contend with unemployment and terrible fights that upset their daughter. When the wife finally lands a very prosperous job, right on the verge of the family going totally bankrupt, the husband begins confiding in a female friend. As their relationship threatens to boil over into something more, the wife learns that her new boss wants to treat her as something more than an employee.
