Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This gently spun drama from Polish director Marcel Lozinski concerns Tomasz (Tomek Lozinski), a young man who reaches his 18th birthday and begins reflecting on the joy and innocence of his childhood. In detailed flashbacks, the film depicts his carefree days riding a scooter along pathways in the park, feeding the squirrels, smelling flowers, and significantly, asking the local senior citizens about life, love, loneliness, and death. Then, the film returns to the present day to observe the many ways in which Tomasz has grown -- what he has gained and lost via aging.
