Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
The beached sun-worshippers who root themselves on sandy shores are contrasted with the arctic exploits of animals who wade in the chilly waters of the North Pole in filmmaker Vivan Ostrovsky's playful experimental short. Nostalgic footage of Rio, Montpellier, Miami, and a number of other beaches are inter-cut with footage from Elvis Presley's Aloha Hawaii, courting penguins, and beached animals to send viewers on an avant-garde vacation where the only item that you won't want to forget to pack is a healthy sense of humor.
