Fifty-seven year old writer/director Edgard Navarro makes his feature directorial debut with this semi-fictionalized autobiography starring Lucas Valadares. A coddled youngster whose comfortable childhood was spent balancing life lessons with values learned in church, Guiga's world is changed forever when his mother dies after seemingly being pestered to death by his quick-tempered father. Later, after growing into a handsome adult and seeking out happiness in a remote hippie commune, the grown-up Guiga gains a new perspective on his childhood.
