In this seagoing melodrama from Greek director Errikos Andreou, the captain of a merchant vessel (Angelos Antonopoulos) dies under mysterious circumstances. The first mate (Kostas Karras) becomes the ship's new captain, much to the chagrin of the crew. His tyrannical command eventually destroys morale and builds so much resentment that the crew turns mutinous, with tragic consequences. Yiannis Argiris co-stars with Haritini Karolou and Vangelis Kazan.
