Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Seminary student Caroline Rodgers (Bessie Love) is captivated by a romance novel in which the hero and heroine become "soul mates" without benefit of clergy. Since the hero of the novel is named Reginald, Caroline vows to fall in love with the first man bearing that name whom she meets. Unfortunately, Caroline's Reginald (Dudley Hawley) is a pugnacious punk with a tendency to take things which don't belong to him. Undaunted, Caroline insists that Reginald accompany her to the wedding of her snooty sister (Edna Earl). Predictably, the ceremony turns into a shambles, but there is one minor compensation: Edna's fiancee Bob (James Morrison) suddenly realizes that he's been in love with Caroline all along.
