synopsis
Based on a play entitled "Bachelor Born" by Ian Hay, this is the story of a kindly man in charge of a British boys' school who is beloved by his feisty but essentially good charges. The new headmaster is a bit of a stick in the mud and tries to have the housemaster removed. Needless to say, the boys pull behind the housemaster. Somewhat dated, but good humor.
