In this well-photographed Hong Kong action thriller a new Chinese-American actor (Lawrence Tan) brings a different, toned-down presence to the hero, Horatio, who saves two sailors attacked by thugs while they are on shore leave. When one of the sailors disappears, Horatio joins in the search for him and along the way confronts some high-flying gangsters in the drug trade.
