This uplifting, inspirational drama concerns Alex (Walter Nudo) an Italian engineer employed in Russia for several years. With his labor contract nearing expiry, he plans to return to Italy - until he accidentally crosses paths with Dima, a hospital-bound child stricken with terminal cancer. The two become friends, and Dima introduces Alex to the other residents of the ward. Alex soon begins volunteering as a pianist, playing for kids in the facility, which brings him face-to-face with the struggles that terminally-ill chidren face, and gives him the opportunity to provide hope for those who desperately need it.
