Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Scottish comedians Mike Hope and Albie Keen presided over this weekly, half-hour British children's comedy series. During the first season, Hope and Keen ran "The Crazy House," a zany hotel which supported an equally wacky cabaret, the Coal-Hole Club. Peter Goodwright and Ruth Kettlewell co-starred as the hotel's two-person staff. For the series' second season, Mike, Albie, and their retinue boarded a "Crazy Bus" (with appropirate theme music blaring in the background) and set off to search for buried treasure. The 13-episode Hope and Keen's Crazy House aired courtesy of BBC1 from 1970 to 1972.
