Synopsis by Cavett Binion
This abysmal slasher movie is set on a remote island off the Gulf Coast at the idyllic Honeymoon Lodge, where three young newlywed couples are stalked by a deformed, axe-wielding maniac. The killer is apparently out to seek symbolic retaliation for an incident on the island several years earlier, when he caught his new bride in a compromising position with another man and set a blaze which killed both lovers and left him hideously disfigured. This is little more than a pathetic rehash of stale Friday the 13th clichés, burdened further by shoddy gore effects, poor photography, and a soundtrack that sounds half-erased. The proceedings are enlivened only slightly by the cigar-chomping antics of a slovenly redneck sheriff (Bill Pecchi).
