Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Hilda Wilson (Marguerita Sylva) is the secretary to Harris Doreyn (Thomas Holding). They are in love, but his wife (Dell Boone) refuses to divorce him. So they part, and she goes to Paris. In the Latin Quarter, she meets up with an acting troupe. One of the group has had a baby who is ill. Since the mother can't care for it, Hilda offers her services. There is a prize fighter staying in the same boarding house, and he too helps with the infant. He and Hilda become romantically involved, but in the end, she realizes that she still loves Doreyn, who shows up in time for the last reel. Conveniently, they are informed via telegram that his wife has died, so now nothing stands in their way. The picture was based on the novel by Samuel Merwin. Marguerita Sylva was a Belgian prima donna and this was her film debut.
