Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Though computer spell-checkers tend to "correct" the apparent typographical error in this film's title, the credits clearly stipulate that it's Homeboyz, Part 2: Crack City--and not Homeboys etc.. Brian Paul Stewart plays a sheltered African American youth, raised in the suburbs. His days of clean living come to an end when he's forced to move into the Harlem ghetto. The "heridity vs. environment" argument is the nucleus of this contmporary melodrama. Homeboysz 2 is not a sequel to Homeboys, despite the film's misleading ad campaign.
