Tim (Tim Allen) demands that his wife, Jill (Patricia Richardson), take an oath never to borrow his tools without permission. Unfortunately, the oath does not extend to Tim's son, Mark (Taran Noah Smith), who ends up breaking his dad's precious torque wrench. Convinced by his olders brothers that he will be "traded" for another kid because of his misdeeds, Mark goes to great and ruinous lengths to hide the damage. A malfunctioning lawn mower provides a suitable capper to all the chaos in this episode.
