Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Adapted from a series of children's books by Home Farm Twins, the weekly, 15-minute Home Farm Twins had much of the style and substance of Black Beauty -- as indeed it should, since it was filmed on the same locations as that earlier series. Real-life siblings Sophie and Polly Duniam starred as twin girls Helen and Hannah, sent by their parents to live on a rundown country farm. It didn't take long for the girls to assemble an impressive menagerie of barnyard animals, which frequently joined our heroines in their many adventures. Thirty-nine episodes of Home Farm Twins were broadcast by BBC1 from January 7, 1999 to March 30, 2000.
