A Vancouver career-woman develops a transformative friendship with a scruffy street busker after carelessly running him down her car, and fleeing the scene in a moment of panic. Stephanie wasn't paying attention to the road when she made a wrong turn, and slammed into Mike. Punching the gas, she attempts to speeds away as the homeless man struggles to get back on his feet. The next day, while heading into the office, Stephanie sees Mike strumming his guitar on the sidewalk, and stops to listen. Transfixed by the passion and sincerity of his songwriting, she reaches out to him and a remarkable friendship is born.
