History of the 20th Century, Vol. 6: 1950-1959 is a program that focuses on the events that developed in the wake of WWII, including Truman's "Give 'em hell" style of leadership, the beginning of the Cold War and arms race between the United States and the Soviet Union, the roots of the Korean War and America's eventual entry into that conflict, and Castro's rise to power in neighboring Cuba.
