Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The talent pools of the Canadian sketch-comedy series A Second Look and Piffle and Company were merrily plundered for this weekly satirical sitcom. Terry David Mulligan played the central character, an irreverent college student who won a cabbie's license during a heated game of Scrabble. Popping in and out of the hero's many misadventures was Bill Reiter, who essayed a variety of character roles but was most often seen as flamboyant Quebecian mechanic Henri le Champignon. Hey, Taxi was seen on Thursdays from July 6 to August 31, 1972.
