Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The weekly CBC documentary series Here and There was apparently inspired by the radio program "Canadian Scene." Each half-hour episode focused on a single Canadian-related topic -- educational, professional, military, and so on -- and each had its own separate producer and host. Broadcast live during its first years on the air, the series switched exclusively to film in its final months. Seen variously on Wednesdays and weekends, Here and There was telecast from May 27, 1955 to November 22, 1958.
