Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Nina Seabury (Kitty Gordon) is a musical comedy actress who is wined and dined by the richest, most desirable men, so bank cashier Emory Townsend (George Ralph) finds himself in heady company when he tries to court her. He steals $12,000 from his job to keep up, only to be dumped for a millionaire. This breaks his heart, but when he goes away to the country to forget, he meets a simple young girl, Mary Winslow (Zena Keefe), whom he marries. She becomes pregnant just as his bank finally begins to figure out what happened to the money he stole. Townsend goes to Nina to ask for the money back, since he spent it all on her, but she's not terribly sympathetic. Mary is more persuasive, however; she makes Nina write her a check at the point of a gun.
