Synopsis by Hal Erickson

In this film, "Honor" is not an abstract concept but a character, played by Peggy Hyland. The wife of U.S. senator Chester Holbrook (Irving Cummings), Honor enters into an affair with suave European Frank Schiller (Frank Goldsmith). But upon discovering that Schiller is a German spy and that he has merely been using her for his own nefarious purposes, Honor turns the tables in a deadly and decisive fashion. The film was festooned with flashbacks and flash-forwards, which served only to make an already confusing plotline even more so. Particularly cumbersome was the film's prologue, set in an unspecified Past, which seemed to exist only to show off the leading lady in glamorous period costumes.
