Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Rethna (Cleo Madison, who also directed) grew up in poverty, and now her whole purpose in life is to help those even less fortunate than herself. To this end, she battles against Burke, the owner of a factory where she once worked, and who is particularly abusive to his workers. First she carries on with Burke's son, Henry, but turns around and marries the other son, Walter. She uses Walter's money to help the suffering workers, who have decided to strike. When Walter discovers the real reason she has married him, he leaves. But when a fire breaks out at the factory, Rethna risks her life to save her former adversary and reunites with her husband.
