Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Falsely convicted of robbery and murder, a young man escapes from prison to search for the real culprit in this low-budget crime melodrama from small-scale Bud Barsky Corporation. Jimmy (Kenneth McDonald) soon discovers that the man who framed him is Elwood Harkness (Gino Corrado), his rival for the affection of pretty Janice Marvin (Margaret Cloud). Harkness' game is over after he attempts to sell Janice's father (Harry Northrup) stock proxies stolen from Jimmy's father (David Torrence). Both McDonald and Corrado went on to enjoy long careers in the sound era as supporting actors.
