Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Director and former professional surfer Sam George profiles the legendary Eddie Aikau in this documentary that employs archival footage as well as reenactments in order to revel the complex life of a man regarded by many as one of the greatest big wave surfers of all time. The filmmakers shine a light on his relationship with his family, and uses Aikau's story in order to discuss bigger issues in Hawaiian culture.
