Synopsis by Cavett Binion
An early slasher film in the Ten Little Indians mode, this derivative, low-budget psychological thriller finds a group of family and friends assembling at a small New England island home for a weekend gathering at the behest of a troubled war veteran. The quirky guests include the young man's mentally unbalanced sister, providing one of the plot's many red herrings. After their arrival, several members of the group are systematically picked off by an unknown psychopath. This scenario bears a striking resemblance to Mario Bava's excellent Bay of Blood, which served as the inspiration for countless unoriginal slasher films -- much like this one.
