Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title of this French comedy translates as Cheer Up Boys. The story takes place during a famous annual bicycle race, with cyclists from all of Europe converging on France, much to the delight of the local journalists. Singing star Biscot plays the hero, who manages to peddle his way to victory, singing merrily all the way. Comedy-relief actor Kerny manages to steal the spotlight from Biscot on several occasions, but in the end there's little doubt as to who the film's star really is. Hardi Les Gars was filmed hot on the heels of another cycling epic, the popular Roi des Resquillers.
