Trowa has been accompanying Heero on a personal mission -- Heero has been visiting every member of the Noventa family, seeking their forgiveness (or retribution) for killing General Noventa, the pacifist Alliance leader. After seeing the last relative in Italy, Trowa and Heero discover that they have been followed. Trowa manages to shake their immediate pursuers, but they're left with the problem of transporting Trowa's Gundam out of town, knowing that they are being watched. Aid comes in the surprising form of Lieutenant Noin, who offers to get them out of town if they'll meet with Zechs. Meanwhile, Relena is doing her own investigation. Unable to confirm if Heero is alive or dead, she has learned that Zechs has apparently faked the destruction of Heero's captured Gundam, despite orders from the Romefeller Foundation to destroy it. But Relena isn't the only one with this information, and Treize finds himself wondering what to do with the strong-willed Zechs.
