Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Also known as Gruey Twoey, this BBC1 children's series chronicled the misadventures of a group of restless schoolkids. Steven "Gruey" Gruecock was the ringleader, while among his cohorts were Peter "Wooley" Woolsmith (Danny Collier) and Quidia "Quidsy" Rahim (Ayesha Hussain), who left the series after its first season, necessitating the dropping of the "Twoey" portion of the title. The hero's principal nemesis was the bullying Nidgey Jackson (Scott Fletcher), who always managed to be outwitted before the final fadeout no matter how hard he tried to get the drop on the good guys. The 12-episode Gruey was telecast in Great Britain from 1988 to 1989.
