Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Ben (Jeremy Miller) skips school to be considered "cool" by his contemporaries, but it is decidedly uncool when he is suspended. Outraged by this occurrence in particular and by her son's less-than-stellar academic record in general, Maggie (Joanna Kerns) decides to take Ben under her wing for some home schooling. The result: Ben learns more in two weeks at home than in two semesters at school. But will he revert to his old, unteachable self once he's back in "the system"?
