synopsis
H.M. Reddy directs this popular Telugu melodrama. The film centers on Madhuri (Kanchanmala), a dissolute dancer who seduces the prim and proper Dr. Krishna Rao (Ramanujachari) from the straight and narrow, enticing him to ditch his devoted wife Radha (P. Kannamba). Rao soon becomes a raging drunk and gets framed for the death of the trustee of his father's substantial estate. Rao's brother-in-law Gopinath (Chittor V. Nagaiah) manages to not only bail him out, but also provides a place to live for his impoverished wife. Later, Radha confronts Madhuri, resulting in the dancer getting pitched down the stairs. Madhuri is left insane by the fall.
