Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Professional golf champion Walter Hagen earned star-billing in this comedy-drama about a young college student, Joe (John Harron), who enters a prestigious golf tournament when his father is forced to declare bankruptcy. Interested in the boy's welfare, Hagen throws the match in Joe's favor, enabling the youngster to stay in college and marry his sweetheart, Betty (Gertrude Olmstead). In return, Joe and Betty decide to name their firstborn in Hagen's honor. Hedda Hopper, Lincoln Stedman, and Ray Hallor also appeared in this low-budget offering from Tiffany-Stahl.
