Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In his efforts to teach Lisa (Eva Gabor) how to be a better farm wife, Oliver (Eddie Albert) triggers a flashback to 19th century Kansas. The focus is on a rural couple named Gus and Etta, who bear a remarkable resemblance to Oliver and Lisa -- just as Prentiss the Peddler is a lookalike for Oliver's perennial nemesis Mr. Haney (Pat Buttram), and Gus and Etta's son Gus Jr. is a dead ringer for modern-day handyman Eb (Tom Lester). The "moral" of the flashback is literally washed away in the final scene.
