When Oliver (Eddie Albert) enrolls in a night-school farming course at Pixley College, Lisa (Eva Gabor) follows suit by signing up for a psychology course. Before long, the citizens of Hooterville are clamoring for the advice of "Dr. Lisa," whose convoluted logic somehow makes sense under the circumstances. Meanwhile, Oliver would like to see Lisa for his own romantic reasons -- but he isn't able to make an appointment!
