Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Throwing caution (and common sense) to the winds, Oliver (Eddie Albert) invites his overbearing mother (Eleanor Audley) to visit him on the farm. Upon Mother Douglas' arrival, she is greeted by a local Indian tribe, who is staging a sit-in on Oliver's front lawn. The reason? It seems that Chief Yellow Hawk (played by the peerless J. Carrol Naish) has set his headdress for Mother Douglas, and wants her to be his wife.
