Dr. Edward de Bono, author of 29 books and a former professor at Oxford, Harvard, and Cambridge, hosts this series that discusses the thought of major philosophers. In company with actors who portray the subject profiled, de Bono conducts a careful and lively interview with his guest on an important aspect of "their" work. In this particular episode, de Bono interviews Nicolo Machiavelli, author of The Prince, and discusses his rejection of idealism.
