Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This theatrical drama was based on the novel Joan Thursday by Louis Joseph Vance. When she expresses her desire to be a stage actress, Joan Thursday (Marjorie Daw) is tossed out of her parents' home. She meets John Masters, a playwright (Lou Tellegen), and they fall in love and marry. When he has to leave for the Coast to produce a play, he leaves her at home in New York. Since Joan is still lusting after stardom on the stage, she accepts the lead role in a Broadway play. It's a hit and so is she, but Masters is not thrilled with her success. He returns home broke and leaves her because of her career. One of the theatrical angels, Vincent Marbridge (Raymond Bloomer), tries to attack her. Masters interrupts the struggle and lets Marbridge have it. After that, there is a reconciliation between Joan and Masters.
