synopsis
Actor John Ince produced, wrote, and directed this silent crime drama starring Herbert Rawlinson and Grace Darmond. The latter plays a girl-detective on the trail of stolen jewels. The contraband is found in the pocket of the innocent Rawlinson, placed there by nasty jewel thief Carlton Griffin, who later takes umbrage to all this snooping around and kidnaps both Darmond and Rawlinson, now working together. Realizing that Grace is his long-lost girlfriend, Rawlinson affects their escape, and Griffin is brought to justice. Veteran comic Chester Conklin and Marcella Daly also appeared in this production, which was distributed by small-scale Kernan Films in November of 1925.
