This film is one of a series that tours the British Isles, visiting some of the outstanding houses of the region. In this episode, the viewer takes the trail to the north of Britain to see some of the great houses of Scotland and Wales. From fine stonework to thatched roofs, the houses exemplify the architectural styles of the area. There is also a guided tour of the ancestral home of the Duke of Northumberlands and the beautiful artworks contained within its ancient walls.
