Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this confusing, poorly constructed programmer, stenographer Lola (Florence Short) has been "wronged" (as they said in those days) by her boss Bradley (Edward Ellis). But the sneaky Bradley manages to pin Lola's pregnancy on his partner Collier (Edward Earle). As a result, Collier's fiancee, Mary (Alma Hanlon), breaks up with him, and he leaves for the west. Bradley lies to Mary that Collier has been killed, and he marries her. Lola dies after having her baby, and not long after, Bradley is found dead. Lola's father (Bigelow Cooper) is accused of the murder, but Collier suddenly reappears and escribes what happened: He and Bradley were fighting, and Bradley pulled a gun. They struggled, the gun went off, and Bradley was killed. His story is believed, and he and Mary get back together.
