Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Evans family manages to avert another financial crisis when J.J. (Jimmie Walker) wins 2,500 dollars in the lottery. Unfortunately, this windfall has attracted the attention of Edna (Tamu Blackwell), a young girl being tutored by the Evanses' neighbor Thelma (Ja'net DuBois). Wielding firearms, Edna and her sister Rozzie (Shirley Hemphill) invade the Evans apartment and demand that J.J. turn over his lottery prize.
